Vertical Slice Week 2


I worked on room 2 following the concept art I had done. I used the design of the rectangular room and implemented it into a square room. My initial intention for the rectangular room was to have moving blocks but for the square model that idea was scrapped. I added some beams as decor to give the room a little more support.

 I put the completed character and collectibles into the project section as prefabs so I could drag and drop them into each room we made, then made a new scene and added the character and collectible into the new 2nd room and again scaled the room to fit with the character and put collectibles into parts of the room, also again put box colliders onto platforms, the floor and walls which needed them to stop the player being able to go outside the confines of the room. Again I copied the walls and turned off the mesh renderer to keep the isometric view clear and not obstructed.
