Vertical Slice Week 1
I brainstormed some concepts for the level design. I came up with a couple ideas. I experimented with a rectangular room but realized if the camera is fixed then a box room would be best fit. I started to work on the first room which had to be very simple. I made the room in blender and it was exported to unity. The room was quite simple and the platforming was easy to do.
I created the basis for the game by setting up a plane that I could make the character on that I could implement into the rooms later, I also made a simple collectible that when walked into would make it disappear making it be "collected", then when the 1st room was made I added it into the scene and scaled it to fit with the character and put the collectibles in various places around the room and that was the base version for the game ready.
